Introduction to the History Archive

The Living Easton Community History Archive contains primary and secondary historical resources available for loan to all members of Living Easton.

Our History Archive continues to grow and is being used increasingly by individuals & students from Bristol and elsewhere around the world.

The Archive contains over 600 books, leaflets and pamphlets as well as photos, sketches, advertisements and maps.

We aim to cover all aspects of life in Easton, Eastville, Baptist Mills & Greenbank, Bristol. Industrial & Social History, Environmental Issues, Women's History, Black History, etc.

As well as collecting and archiving materials from the past we also collect contempory materials which, while not listed on this site are in storage for future generations.

If you wish to view or borrow from the Archive or obtain copies of items just contact Jim on 0117 939 1571 or email:

We hope you enjoy your visit - please let us have your comments!
