Welcome

I am a senior lecturer in the Bristol Institute of Technology at the University of the West of England.
I trained as an Electronic Engineer and have an MSc in Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering.

My current research focus in interactive evolutionary computation is on enhancing user experience and ease of interaction which are vital to ensure the applicability of these algorithms in real-world scenarios. My research has also included the application of adaptive non-linear learning algorithms to a range of medically related problems.

My teaching subject specialism is Human-Computer Interaction. I am available for consultancy work in usability testing and data mining.
