Welcome

I am a Senior Lecturer here at the University of the West of England, but I have 10 years of commercial web design and development experience. Prior to moving to academia I have had roles as a Senior Consultant with Headshift, the UK’s leading Social Software company, as Product Manager for the BBC’s online communities and Production Director for London new media agency Syzygy.

Teaching

The primary thing I am responsible for is UWE's undergraduate degreee in Web Design. My teaching here focuses on Interface Design and Games Studies.

Research

The main research interests I have are around online social spaces, pervasive media and mobile gaming.

I'm also available for consultancy work in the whole domain of social software/media/networking and Web 2.0 as well as more general web product design and mangement.
