EvoDebates: Fit for the future
The EvoNet online debate on the future of evolutionary computing aims to reflect the specialist knowledge, expertise and experience of the entire evolutionary computing community. Ultimately it will serve as an "ideas bank" of informed opinion about future research and applications that researchers and funding bodies can access online.
A selection of contributions gathered during the debate will be included in a series of print publications entitled Fit for the future. Issue 1 of Fit for the future has been published to coincide with EUROGEN 2001 and further issues are planned for next year.
All researchers and practitioners are invited to contribute to the online debate and to Fit for the future by posting a position statement highlighting the research or application areas they think are most promising.
These webpages allow you to:
- discover what researchers and practitioners believe are the most important areas for future research,
- steer the debate in a direction you think is useful by submitting your own position statement,
- comment on somebody else's position statement (use the button at the end of each position statement).
