









The Group aims to further formal understanding of LCS, develop new algorithms within the paradigm, and to apply LCS to complex tasks. Previously, the Group has successfully applied LCS to various problems including data mining and classification, the control of road traffic junctions and robots, and to agent modelling tasks such as concept aircraft testing and on-line markets. UWE has a long history of LCS research; the first publications and projects appearing in the early nineties.
