A reminder that for the last two weeks of this term (15th March- 26th March) the BIT computer labs and studios in P, N and Q will be open:

Monday to Friday - 24hrs
Saturday & Sunday - 10am-midnight

Please ensure that you have your UWE ID on you at all times, without this you maybe asked to leave the buildings.

Can I remind students not to prop open doors to the PC labs as this sends a false signal to the security control room and may result in both students and equipment being at risk. Thank You.

As part of one of their course, year two Creative Music Technology students have to organise a live music event, and two of the groups are about to deliver.

We'd love for you to all come along to enjoy these two fantastic nights of live music where we can almost guarantee that you will have a good time (and you'll help us get a better mark by turning up!!

• Tuesday 16th March at the Junction in Stokes Croft.  (note change of venue)
  A night of blues rock with three bands – all our own.
  Doors open at 7:30pm
  Tickets (limited) £4 in advance

• Monday 22nd March at the Future Inn (nr. Cabot Circus)
  An evening of jazz, with the headlining band being the well renowned Andy Nowak Trio.
  Band is on at half eight, with a bar upstairs beforehand
  Tickets £5 (limited) in advance

The BIT Graduation Ceremony this year will be on Thursday 18th November 2010 in Bristol Cathedral.  There will be 2 ceremonies, divided up as below: 

2pm - Department of Computer Science and Creative Technologies

5pm - Department of Engineering Design and Mathematics

Coursework must be sumitted on or before the deadline published.   There is no 24 hour window or 10 day "Late Work" rule.

The submission details for coursework are now available online at the end of each individual module description. This will tell you the submission date, estimated return date of the marked assignment and whether your coursework is ready for collection.

Your work should be submitted with a completed ‘Coursework Coversheet’ to the FET Project Room (2Q30).
