SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) Example

Process Flow

This example uses a process of transformation of an XML information representation of a manufacturing process to a visual SVG representation of the process. This illustrates the concept of de-abstraction of a process model by visualising it in a less abstract form and more user-friendly form.

XML (eXtensible Markup Language) File - statetrans.xml - XML file to be transformed into SVG file.

XSLT (eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformation) File - statetrans.txt - XSLT file used to convert XML to SVG file.

This is based on an example I found by Philip A. Mansfield and Darryl W. Fuller that is explained in this paper from the 2001 XML conference.
