The Applied Mathematics Group is well-established, specialising in the application of mathematical theories and techniques to the analysis of problems and phenomena in the physical and biological sciences, engineering and other contexts. They work in a multi-disciplinary context with colleagues elsewhere in the Faculty and the University including the Bristol Robotics Lab and the Centre for Appearance Research. They also work with national and international collaborators across a wider range of other institutions.
